This route started more or less our Fujin gravel-adventures. Starting on 30mm tires on the racer we fell in love with gravel.

This is not the exact same route, but it has a lot of the same parts. It is doable on 30 mm tires. Starting from our area of Zuilen, you might have to alter the start and end to a more central area. This route gives you all the nice parts of the "gooische gravel". Watch out for the Highland cattle and the insane amount of people when sunny. Somewhere around the old citadel of Naarden is a good place to have some coffee. Many good options but we like Kweek foodbar.

The road back takes you through the heathlands and back to the goosche gravel. If you want, you can drop by the dutch princess at Slot Drakesteyn. Not sure if she will receive you though.... a lot of snack opportunities at Lage Vuursche. But we like to head in to Utrecht for a well deserved beer.
