I start my favorite gravel route in the eastern part of Utrecht and follow the beautiful Let de Stigterpad. This 39 km long, partly unpaved bike path winds through forests, heathlands, and sand drifts. It continues through the vasst Landgoed Den Treek-Henschoten, where the dry nature of the Heuvelrug transitions into the areas of the Gelderse Vallei. Beware of the wolf!

Halfway, you'll find the perfect coffee stop at Wielercafé De Proloog in Amerongen for a cup of coffee and some homemade treats. Sometimes, we add an extra loop to ride further into the Gelderse Vallei.

The way back leads me through picturesque singletracks and roads, making for a perfect morning ride at our signature 'party pace' tempo."
